For two hundred years businesses have flourished around the Lawrenceville Square. The passage of time has seen many changes in property owners and buildings. A history of the Northwest Corner of the square-- who owned it, when the buildings were built, what businesses were there—will be presented by Donna Burton, John and Nancy King for the next program of the Lawrence County Illinois Historical Society on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the History Center. The program titled “None of Your Business” will feature vintage photos, stories about the Mieure family who were early owners, and other interesting facts. “Relevant” business artifacts will be presented to Zane Parrott as

today’s representative-owner of the property. Admission is free.
