Civil War Project
Research all Civil War soldiers who enlisted or who are buried in Lawrence County, Illlinois for the purpose of a database or book.
Business on the Square
Create a photographic history of each building on the Lawrenceville Square and of the merchants who occupied these locations.
Historic Designation Project - Completed
David Burgett researched, applied for, and received a Designation placing the County Courthouse on the National Register of Historic Places.
Cemetery Project
Create an updated database for all county cemeteries to include their location, gravestone identification and obituaries. Centerville Cemetery in Allison Township is now online.
Relocation of Millstones -Completed
Relocation of Small's Millstones from former Lawrenceville High School grounds to Southeast corner of Courthouse lawn completed in Fall of 2013 with the assistance of the County Commissioners and Moore Bros. Contractors. Click here
