Dan Shearer presented an excellent program on the history of the Lawrenceville Greenhouse this past Monday night for the Historical Society’s monthly meeting. Included with photos and artifacts were behind- the- scene looks at how this family business operated. Dan’s brothers shared funny stories of when as young boys, they had to dress up as the Easter Bunny to deliver flowers to customers and how they hated the “hugging” part by grateful older ladies. This business was a big part of Lawrence County's history and Dan has our thanks for sharing his memories. (The Ladies thank you for the flowers too, Dan.)
