In the 1900 Presidential Election, Lawrence County voters cast 1961 votes for the Republican candidates, McKinley and Roosevelt, and 2021 votes for the Democrat candidates, Bryan and Stevenson.


Theodore Roosevelt came to Lawrenceville looking for votes......


APRIL FOOLS'DAY

Gib Young, as impersonator, presented a program to the Historical Society in March 2010. He talked about his presidency, and answered questions from the audience. About 100 people attended the presentation.
