In an effort to raise money for the Bridgeport Little League Association, the organization sold tickets for a five-minute shopping spree at Altadonna’s IGA. The name of Mrs. Etta Hill of Lawrenceville was drawn August 10, 1974. She was allowed one item of each kind. She managed to cart away $72.56 worth of groceries, including a ham and a turkey.

In the top photo are from left, Mrs. Hill, Kay Akers, store manager and Frank Altadonna, store owner.
