The Lawrence County Historical Society is participating in the Second Annual Festival of Trees presented by the Lawrence County Health Department located at 2101 James St Lawrenceville.

The theme for our tree is “Postcards from the Past”. Since the Society’s collection includes many Holiday postcards sent to Lawrence County residents during the early 1900s, our tree features new reproduction vintage postcards and handmade poinsettias from vintage music pages.  The decorations will be auctioned to the highest bidders with proceeds to go towards the Historical Society.

Attendees at the Health Dept’s Christmas event on December 7, 2024, can nominate their picks for a People’s Choice award by leaving nonperishable food in the box by their favorite entry.

So please stop by the Health Department with a few canned goods, (or maybe a lot) and look at our tree. Details for the auction to be provided later.
