Saturday, a wonderful couple from Cumberland County Illinois drove down and donated this sign to the Historical Society. They had rescued it from an auction there. The names are of those from Lawrence County who died in WWII. In addition to any information about the names on the sign we are interested in where it was originally placed. The courthouse? the VFW? The American Legion? Where? If you have any knowledge about this or would like to help research these names please contact: lawrencelore@gmail.com
