LAWRENCE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP MEETING


Members of the Lawrence County Historical Society are invited to attend a membership

meeting on Monday, August 25, 2025, 7:00 p.m., at the History Center. The purpose of the

meeting is to submit for member approval the following proposed amendment to the organization's

constitution:


The officers of the Society shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer, each of

whom shall be elected for a term of one year or until a successor in office is elected; and not less

than three nor more than five Directors, each of whom shall be elected for a term of three years or

until a successor in office is elected.


Nominations for election to the board of directors will also be acted upon at this meeting. Society officers will be present to address any questions by members concerning the operation and management of the Society.


THERE WILL BE NO PROGRAM AT THIS MEETING.
