We are trying to identify these houses that were pictured in the newspaper in 1938. Perhaps someone can "Google map" them and send us a more current photo. The top left does not have an address but it is pretty distinctive. The bottom left, owned by Wilbur Smith, was located on Washington Street and the the far right one belonging to Thomas S Patrick is on Old State Road. (I know this one but I will wait and see if anyone else can figure it out.)

The Auction for the Festival of Trees to benefit various organizations sponsored by the Lawrence County Health Department has begun on the Parrott Auction site https://www.parrottauctions.com/auctions/32312-lchd-festival-of-trees. Don't forget to bid for the Lawrence County Historical Society's Tree Lot Number 29.
