We are not quite finished, but we have organized most of the archives for our “Towns and Communities”.  Included are photographs and clippings about various aspects of community life, such as businesses, buildings, government, fire departments, residences, events, and parades.  (Churches and Schools have their own archives.) While organizing early 1900s photographs, we noticed a lack of documentation for life today. How will historians (and museum curators) know what Lawrence County looked like in the 21st century? So we sent Larry Curry out to document Bridgeport. Here are his photos.

Bridgeport Water Tower and People's State Bank

The Port, The Massage Studio on Main, Small Town Roots Salon, Leggit Lumber and Hardware

We have not deliberately omitted any locations, so if you believe a business or building should be included,
