This early 1900s white cotton embroidered eyelet and lace tea dress was recently donated to the LCHS Textile Collection. The feminine dress abounds in floral embroidery and has insets of crocheted lace and cutwork. The elbow length sleeves are edged in delicate embroidery cutwork and lace trim. The back buttons are hidden by a cloth flap; the waist measures 21". This lovely dress was worn by Hannah Faye (Buchanan) Wiswall (1888-1968) who married Willard J Wiswall in 1907.
