Lawrence Lore
Volunteer with LCHS
Do you have a few hours a week to give back to your community?
If you like to visit with people, helping as a tour guide may be a perfect fit at our History Center on the Square. Or if serving "behind the scenes" is more appealing, consider contributing your time in our archives working hands on with collections. Or perhaps you are a genealogist who would like to help others find their roots. If your interests vary, you could join the ranks of our volunteers who lend their talents in more than one way. Shifts are available during the week or the weekend, depending on the position and your availability. Or you can just sign up for a special project with no specific time commitment.
As a Lawrence County Historical Society volunteer, all work is unpaid, but we offer the benefits of new skills, friendships, and the satisfaction of knowing you've helped advance historical knowledge. Plus, you have the opportunity to work with some of Lawrence County historical artifacts and become an expert on local history.
Give us a call 908-208-2372. While you are at it, if you are not a member, why not join our organization? https://www.lawrencelore.org/membership
