Do you want to know how to properly clean the tombtones of your ancestors? What product to use? What tools NOT to use? The Toussaint DuBois DAR will present a program on cemetery preservation at its next meeting on Monday, June 16, at 6:00 p.m., at the History Center on the Square in Lawrenceville, Illinois. John Fish, Tombstone Restorer, will present a program entitled “Preserving the Past and Honoring our Pioneer Families.” Fish will focus his remarks on pioneer cemetery maintenance, including proper methods of overgrowth removal, gravestone cleaning, and gravestone resetting.
