Thank you to the Lawrence County Library for allowing the Historical Society to place a new exhibit in their lobby. Scattered around the library are also exhibit boards with information about local soldiers who fought in the War. This exhibit was created bty Nancy K and Sherrie Z.

The Historical Society's research library has the biographies of over 1300 men from Lawrence County who enlisted as well as an extensive photography gallery of their portraits. Did your ancestor serve? Stop by our place Monday, Wedensday and Friday mornings 9-12 and find out.

And don't forget to view our award winning video, An Eagle on his Button located here.
