Weather for Sumner in January 1889: Highest temperature was 58 on the 16th and the lowest 20 above on the 28th. The average for the month was 34, being 7 above the average for the past three years. It rained on 13 days, the precipitation being 3.2 inches. The total snow fall was 6 ¼ inches.
